Back from our 3 day back pack trek

What a 3 days it has been, started with elephant rides. you ride them yourself thu jungle, down to river. The guide is on the ground giving the elephant orders and 3 people sit on the elephant. I sat on the head, that was a mistake, (nothing to hang on to) the ride was about a hour long. Then we loaded up our very heavy back packs to the jungles and mountains for a 2 1/2 hour trek up the mountain. It was about 88 degrees out. We cross rivers and made it to a village, had lunch and continued backpacking up the mountain. There were 12 of us plus the guide, all from different countries Jason and I were the only Americans. The ages were 24 to 57!!! Stayed all nite in a village had dinner went white water rafting and bamboo rafting and much more, just don't have time to write everything, will just hit the hit high spots etc. We have a flight to the island of Koh Samui tomorrow
